Scott Weiland gets eight days in the hole for DUI

Former Verlvet Revolver singer Scott Weiland was sentenced to jail following a DUI arrest in November 2007.

Weiland was charged with one misdemeanor count of driving under the influence of alcohol with a prior conviction.

Weiland failed field sobriety tests and then refused to take a blood or urine test. He was booked last November and released on $40,000 bail.

Now he will serve 8 days in jail. He will have until Wednesday, May 28th to serve the sentence.

Also ordered was a mandatory 18-month alcohol program,  four-year summary probation and approximately $2,000 in fines.
