T.I. busted before BET Awards

Rapper Kanye West went home with the win at the BET Awards on Saturday, but the spotlight on his victory was stolen by nine-time nominee T.I.’s arrest for weapon charges before the award show got started. EPA/PAUL BUCKT.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, was arrested in the parking lot of an Atlanta shopping center after he allegedly accepted delivery of three machine guns and two silencers from a bodyguard. The rapper, who is a convicted felon and not allowed to own firearms, was denied bond on Monday and ordered to remain in jail until his next court appearance on Friday.Federal prosecutors are attempting to have the rapper held without bond until his trial – which has yet to receive a start date and could be months away. U.S. Magistrate Alan Baverman has scheduled a hearing on Friday to determine if there was probable cause for the arrest. The Friday court date will also determine whether T.I. will be able to qualify for bond before the start of the trial.David E. Nahmias, U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Georgia, has stated: "The last place machine guns should be is in the hands of a convicted felon, who cannot legally possess any kind of firearm. This convicted felon allegedly was trying to add several machine guns to an already large and entirely illegal arsenal of guns. Thanks to the good and quick work of ATF [Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms], he is now in custody, and his firearms have been seized."T.I.’s attorney Dwight Thomas has said the rapper is “in good spirits” and is “confident the legal system will work in his favor.”The arrest happened after ATF agents reportedly learned a bodyguard for T.I. was attempting to purchase machine guns without registering them. The bodyguard was arrested on Wednesday for purchasing three machine guns, two silencers and a pistol. He claimed he was buying weapons for T.I., and helped police arrange to deliver the guns to T.I. on Saturday. In addition to the weapons at the purchase, police found three other firearms in the vehicle T.I. was driving. There were six more firearms reportedly found at his home.

o come on T.I you are best singer in the world but what happen dont tell me you gonna stay there until next 10yrs please i dont wanna you stay there longer because you are very good man and you are great father and becuz i know that and i love your album best cd of the years and i hope i could see anywhere but dont get any trouble over there ok.Oh i forgot to tell you that im your biggest fan of you i never get chance to see you but maybe someday i will see you but take care alright and i will pray for you and your kids and well i gonna go love ya take care bye bye
